This is hands down one of the best and most spectacular beaches i have ever been on. Crystal clear water and great snorkeling. If you ask me this is one of the best beaches in Europe.

Sardinia as a part of Italy is of course at the top in the world regarding food, and you can find delicious pizza, ice cream and pasta all over Sardinia. The Gellatio Fancello located in Cala Gonone in the northeast part of Sardinia is one of the most popular ice cream shops on the island, but the ice cream is definetely worth the waiting. La finestrella is another good ice cream shop in La Maddalena.
Craving some Italian Pizza? Then you should visit the Pizzeria Cerere in Cagliari, this place is very popular among tourists but have amazing pizza with cheap prices and good service. Old Country Pizzeria is another good pizza place in Bonarcado.

Last Remaining Species of Wild Horses Live in Sardinia
The Giara Di Gesturi is a 45 square kilometer plateu in the southern parts of Sardinia. This plateu is populated by a rare breed of horses who run free. This small population is the last population of wild horses in Europe. You are NOT allowed to feed the horses any food or to disrupt them in their daily routines. The regional administration is protecting this tiny population of wild horses.
The capital of Sardinia, Cagliari
Cagliari is located at the heart of bay of angels and like Rome this city was built on seven hills. Cagliari like the rest of Sardinia also have great beaches, The Poetto is the most popular beach and is the center for meetings and nightlife in the hot summer evenings because of the many bars and restaurants nearby. Dont forget to see and photograph the pink flamingos that inhabit the ponds of the capital (the best month for this is in June).

Largo Carlo Felice, Manno, Via Roma are streets with the best shopping in Cagliari, you can find international clothing brands aswell as local crafts and food markets like the San Bendetto Market were you can buy a bunch of italian foods like dried pasta or honey. If you wanna go to the market on a Sunday there is Bastioni di San Remy on the second Sunday of every month.
